MILESTONE 1 - ENTERING UNIVERSITY

Date: September 5th, 2012

 

Goal: Gain a variety of technical skills in a broad range of topics, as well as improve my time management skills and study habits.

​

Description: In high school, I have learned important skills like scientific rigor, attention to detail, and experimental design. I was never formally taught the process of design, or knew that it existed. I am entering the ECE program with little understanding of what Engineering is. Not only am I not qualified to practice engineering design, I do not even know what skills I am lacking.

Relevant Courses: Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Linear Algebra, Calculus, Earth and Space Science, English

Strengths: Experimental practice, Detail Oriented, Textual Analysis, Writing

​

Known Weaknesses: Oral Communication, Teamwork, Time and Work Organization, Technical knowledge

​

Unknown Weaknesses: Engineering design methodology, Application of Knowledge, Inter-Disciplinary Communication and Design
